COLOP at Paperworld 2017

The international trade fair for paper, office supplies and stationery opened its doors from 28th to 31st January 2017 in Frankfurt. Again, one of the participants this year was Austrian stamp manufacturer COLOP, showing new and existing products and systems to long-standing distributors and prospective customers from all around the world.

A new look for the Office Line

This year, visitors literally got to see something new, because some best-sellers had been given a completely new look. COLOP’s lightweight Office Line, got a facelift, and this was unveiled. The result is a new Green Line model made of 75 percent recycled material, in an attractive design in combination with the typical green of the successful Green Line.

Since more than half of stamp users are women, the focus with the Office Line “Special Edition”, which has also been newly introduced, is on the feminine. As well as the new look, the stamp's light weight and comfortable handling were especially well received by women.

The redesigned Office Line together with the extremely robust Expert Line and the elegant Classic Line form the so-called Heavy Duty Stamps. The trio thus provides the perfect stamp for every conceivable need and was another area of focus at the COLOP 2017 stand.

Augmented Reality arrives in the stamping sector

COLOP is the first leading global stamp manufacturer to be adding sensational value to imprints with Augmented Reality!

Visitors to the trade fair got an exciting glimpse of the future of stamping at the COLOP stand. Augmented Reality was the buzzword making the stamp producer a pioneer in the sector yet again. COLOP is picking up on a global mega trend here. Up until now, state-of-the-art stamp imprints were two-dimensional. Now COLOP is the first stamp manufacturer on the market to add a new dimension, and with it, new functionality. 2D stamp impressions are turning into 3D animations. How does it work? It's quite simple: The stamp impint is brought to life using a mobile devise like a tablet or a smartphone and an app. COLOP’s popular Motivational Stamps are one of the first products to put this idea to engaging use. So school stamps will mean pupils have more fun if their stamp imprint, for example a star in their exercise book turns into a virtual 3D experience, which jumps, smiles and turns arount. Other appealing uses are in development. We’re using ARSI (Augmented Reality Stamp Imprint) to add digital value for clients and end customers and to make stamps a little bit more modern again.

New colour concept for the EOS Flash Line:

Last but not least, COLOP presented a new colour concept for its EOS Line. The products are now available with white and black handle and base – a conscious simplification for the modern user. Three attractive and interchangeable ImageCard™ designs ensure an appealing overall look.

COLOP’s products and marketing concepts, combined with high visitor numbers, made the trade fair a resounding success and ushered in a promising new year. A year in which the Austrian stamp producer will once again prove its innovation and dynamism, bring consistently fresh, new ideas to the stamping world, move with the times and reflect the latest trends.
