Saturday, January 28, 2017: More than 100 guests followed this year´s invitation to the traditional COLOP evening at the Westin Grand Hotel in Frankfurt. After the first day at Paperworld fair, it was the right occasion to present our partners, customers and friends new products and to discuss them at an international level. Not only the magician Christian de la Motte brought magic to this event, but also the look into the possible future of the stamp.
After a come-together in the foyer, our guests took place in the beautiful ambience of the ballroom at the Westin Grand Hotel, where CEO Ernst Faber and Sales Director Franz Ratzenberger welcomed them. The lights were switched off and a truly magical evening began. Christian de la Motte enchanted our partners, customers and the whole COLOP team. It was a skillful combination of illusion & comedy, in which our audience – especially Ernst Faber - was called for the stage.
This amusing start was followed by a presentation about new products, trend developments and success stories from COLOP. After that an exciting look into the possible future of the stamp was given. COLOP is the first of the world´s leading stamp manufacturers who adds a digital additional function to the stamp imprint. With the help of a tablet or smartphone and the corresponding app, a 3D animation is created from a 2D stamp imprint. This novelty, which is currently under development at COLOP, was introduced under the name ARSI – Augmented Reality Stamp Imprint.
Finally, the buffet was opened and our guests from all over the world were able to exchange ideas about the world of stamps as well as private stuff, while Christian de la Motte surprised them with some table magic tricks.
COLOP says thank you - thanks to the fact that so many customers have followed our invitation again in 2017 to spend a common evening with the COLOP team in Frankfurt.
