The international trade fair for paper, office supplies and stationery opened its doors from 28th to 31st January 2017 in Frankfurt. Again, one of the participants this year was Austrian stamp manufacturer COLOP, showing new and existing products and systems to long-standing distributors and prospective customers from all around the world.
Motivational Stamps with Augmented Reality
COLOP presented the idea of combining stamps with Augmented Reality at Paperworld 2017. As the first of the world's leading stamp manufacturer, the company picked up on the global mega trend and brought the first products in this field to the market.
COLOP is using Augmented Reality to give the funny, colourful stamp impressions of selected Motivational Stamps a great added value, turning two dimensional stamp imprints into 3D animations.
COLOP Motivational Stamps with colourful designs and AR functionality have been developed to reward children's achievement, especially at school, and are accordingly targeted at teachers and parents.
The elegant and timeless look of COLOP’s exclusive new True Style also attracted a great deal of interest. This is a special representative from COLOPs Heavy Duty Line. Its design has a touch of nostalgia, but it is not only an eye catching addition to every desk; it also of course meets COLOP’s outstanding quality standards. The True Style combines robust steel with modern plastics and elegant wood, and is equipped with the latest self inking technology.
COLOP’s new Top Pad series
COLOP also presented its new TOP Pad product series – XXL stamp pads, ideal for use with extra large hand stamps, rocker stamps and number stamps.
The new Top Pad stamp pad has a high quality metal case and a felt pad in proven COLOP quality. Its rounded corners and edges ensure that the cover provides an outstanding seal, which makes the Top Pad the ideal stamp pad for quick drying colours. However, the combination of materials used means the pad can be used with all current stamp inks (oil or water based). Depending on the ink used. There are a number of possible application for users, including paper, carton, textiles, wood, metal, synthetic materials, plastics, glass and acrylic.
Swing – COLOP’s first rocker stamp
To go along with the new Top Pad, COLOP presented a new, high quality rocker stamp by the name of Swing at its stand in Hall 3.0. The Swing is made entirely of metal and offers a clever alternative to traditional wooden rocker stamps. The Swing has a unique system (patented pending). In contrast to wooden stamps, the Swing is made not from one but from two parts, one making up the handle and the other the metal plate. This design makes it very easy to exchange the metal plate, meaning that you can use one handle for several different text plates, saving space and also money.
