Creative craft projects and personalisation ideas with the e-mark go
It's getting colder outside, the first snowflakes won't be long in coming and the smell of gingerbread and punch will soon be in the air. The Christmas season is approaching and with it the question: how can gifts or decorations be made more personalised and creative this year? The e-mark go is the perfect companion for transforming the pre-Christmas period into a DIY paradise. But this doesn't just apply to DIY enthusiasts - in this blog post we show how anyone can make Christmas gifts and the like more personalised with little effort.
In our experience, the pre-Christmas period is the season with the highest e-mark usage, as people like to do handicrafts during this time and many want to personalise their gifts and decorations. With the following craft ideas, we would like to show you, how easily personalised gifts and decoration can be made.
Christmas templates in the e-mark go app
The e-mark go app has its own Christmas category in the in-app store. Perfect for all your upcoming craft projects, it contains beautiful Christmas designs that you can use to realise your ideas in no time at all. There are also 40 festive cliparts that are loaded directly into the clipart gallery and can be used in any print. From candy canes to festive Christmas trees to loving Christmas greetings - this gives you the perfect basis to make your projects shine in Christmas splendour.
3 Christmas DIY projects
1. Personalised Christmas cards
Christmas cards are still trendy - and what could be better than a handmade card? With the e-mark go, blank cards can be personalised in no time with festive motifs, Christmas greetings and, of course, the names of the recipients. You need: e-mark go and ruler, card in the desired colour (coloured cards are also suitable), washi tape
Here is how it works:
Cut a triangle out of cardboard as a stencil or stick a triangle directly onto the front of the blank card using washi tape. The triangle symbolises the Christmas tree. Now create a Christmas design in the app, select "continual printing" and send the imprint to the e-mark go. You can now use the e-mark go to print on the empty triangle line by line. Remove the washi tape or stencil and the perfectly designed Christmas tree will remain on your card. Now print your Christmas greetings under the tree. Decorate the card with glitter, stickers or other prints as desired.
You can create a minimalist yet impressive Christmas card in just a few simple steps!
2. Homemade gift in a jar
Gifts in a jar are quick and easy to make and yet can be lovingly designed, especially when the e-mark go is used.
Here is how it works:
Ingredients for the baking mix:
60 g flour
½ tsp baking powder
60 g baking cocoa
2 tsp gingerbread spice or similar
40 g ground almonds
50 g brown sugar
50 g white sugar
50 g chopped chocolate/chocolate drops
Layer the ingredients one by one in a preserving jar (approx. 500 ml).
Print a label with "Christmas brownies" and stick it on the jar. Print a tag with the baking instructions: "Mix with 60 g melted butter and 2 eggs in a bowl and pour into a small baking tin. Bake at 180 °C for about 25 minutes."
3. Personalise and wrap gifts
Nothing makes a gift more personal than lovingly designed packaging. With the e-mark go, you can not only customise the gifts themselves, but also the packaging material.
Here is how it works:
Printed wrapping paper: Use plain, single-coloured paper (e.g. white or kraft paper) and use the e-mark go to print it with cliparts, Christmas symbols or a personal greetings. Whether snowflakes, reindeer patterns or small Christmas messages - there are no limits to your creativity. Personalised gift ribbons: Use the COLOP e-mark cotton ribbons and print them with the e-mark go. You can print names, festive symbols or Christmas greetings on the ribbon and then wrap it around your gifts. This will make your gift an absolute highlight.
With these three creative projects, you can easily customise your Christmas gifts and cards and personalise them with your e-mark go. Have fun crafting and wrapping!
