COLOP Digital at the CES 2022

The Consumer Electronic Show "CES" - the largest technology trade fair in the world - took place from 05th to 07th January 2022 in Las Vegas. As one of only a few Austrian companies, COLOP Digital was present at the show to inform the market of its product innovations. The US market is of particular interest to COLOP Digital - the company recently won the NAOPA Award, which is very renowned in the office products sector, with its e-mark.

COLOP e-mark® - the versatile mobile printer for highest demands

With the e-mark, COLOP has achieved a breakthrough in mobile digital printing. The mobile printer based on inkjet technology works in combination with a free, specially developed software for mobile devices (iOS and Android) and Windows PCs. Especially the helpful special functions (e.g.: automatic date, time and numbering functions, barcode, QR code generator) make the e-mark a useful tool for professional use. The trade fair visitors were visibly enthusiastic about the variety of additional materials such as cotton ribbons, labels or plastic tags, which significantly expand the application possibilities for individual printing.

COLOP e-mark® go - the lifestyle printer for everyone

The e-mark go, which is expected to be released in mid-2022 and will be developed and produced in Austria, is one of the most compact mobile printers on the market and attracted many visitors to the COLOP stand. "Both the printer and the completely new e-mark go app were developed with the clear aim of offering the price-conscious consumer an extremely intuitive operation that at the same time allows for maximum creativity and individuality," explained Heinz Angerlehner, Marketing Manager at COLOP Digital, who was also able to convince numerous trade fair visitors.

COLOP e-mark® secure - more security for important documents

The audience also showed great interest in COLOP's e-mark secure solution, which will also be launched in 2022. "Especially in times like these, it is becoming increasingly important to make documents more forgery-proof. Exactly for this purpose we have a solution, which can be used for digital but also for analogue documents. An encrypted matrix code is printed on the document with the e-mark secure, which makes the data stored in the blockchain verifiable from anywhere," explains Christoph Skopek, Managing Director of COLOP Digital.

CES a great success for COLOP
Due to the current Corona situation, this year's show for industry insiders and media representatives was significantly smaller than CES 2020. Nevertheless, more than 40,000 visitors were recorded, who informed themselves on site about new technologies and products from 2300 exhibitors. Franz Ratzenberger, Managing Director COLOP Digital: "It has once again been shown how important the on-site presentation of our e-mark solutions is and what WOW - effects we can achieve. We tried to think beyond the pandemic and were able to make promising contacts thanks to the fair."
